Gornergrat (3100 m asl)

Images prises au Gornergrat, au-dessus de Zermatt (Suisse), à 3100 m d'altitude, entre 01:38 et 02:49 du matin. Le ciel, presque entièrement couvert pendant le reste de la nuit, s'est miraculeusement dégagé pendant cette période, ce qui a permis cette magnifique vision du ciel à haute altitude, avec en particulier une voie lactée resplendissante.
Matériel: Canon EOS 650D, zoom 18-55 mm, 3200 ISO, poses de 1 minute. La netteté est hélas assez imparfaite; j'essaierai de faire mieux la prochaine fois !
Images shot at Gornergrat above Zermatt (Switzerland), 3100 m asl, between 1:38 and 2:49 am. Although the sky was almost entirely covered during the rest of the night, clouds miraculously disappeared during this period, which allowed this magnificent view of the sky at high altitude, especially with a radiant Milky Way.
Equipment: Canon EOS 650D, 18-55 mm zoom, ISO 3200, 1 minute exposures. The sharpness is unfortunately quite imperfect; I will try to do better next time!

Pour célébrer le championnat d'Europe 2008 de football, qui s'est tenu notamment à Genève, un ballon géant de 15 m de diamètre, gonflé à l'hélium, a été placé au-dessus du jet d'eau, à 150 m de hauteur, de fin avril à fin juin.
To celebrate the 2008 european soccer championship hold, among other cities, in Geneva, a giant helium filled ballon, 15 m (50 ft) in diameter, was tethered above the water fountain, some 150 m (500 ft) high, till the end of the competition.
